New Years!
I like talking about myself sometimes.
I went to Theo’s for New Years Eve. Here’s what happened:
— I got lost for about 30 minutes on my way there. I ended up at a dead end and I pulled over to the side of the road and cried for about 10 minutes before I called my mommy and made her Mapquest it for me. I apparently have misplaced my GPS.
— I finally got there around 2:30 p.m.
— His mom is a hugger.
— I adore his family. They’re all unbelievably good looking. It’s a bit strange, really.
— He has 2 sisters, 17 and 13. They’re gorgeous. I don’t get it. They are thin, but curvy in slightly mindblowing way. And they’re pretty as hell. And they’re both really nice. And the youngest, Theresa, is actually a pretty cool kid. A very rare breed for a 13 year old.
— His little brother, Nathaniel, is way cool too. He’s really funny and basically a younger, skinny Theo.
— Theo showed me around Atchison, which is way better than I thought it was.
— There are a million *huge* houses, one of which has freaking GARGOYLES on the top of it. So cool.
— There are also a million really big parks. Atchison is crazy hilly and crazy pretty. I’m jealous of it when I compare it to Burlington. Though, they have a “hood.” We do not. I’m grateful that there really isn’t a “bad” part of Burlington. A cop got shot and killed in “the hood” in Atchison last month. =[
— We drove around for 2 and a half hours just looking at all the pretty things.
— We ate with his family. They (it was a group effort between like 4 of them) made Indian Tacos and they were real good. Eating with his huge family was so fun. They’re always talking and it’s the complete opposite of my family. It’s really easy for me to see why Theo is so close to his family.
— We watched a movie with his family for a bit, then went out to Forrest’s for a party.
— Forrest was discussing who else would be there, apparently Theo’s ex was on the list. Awkward…
— We didn’t drink anything but a Mike’s Hard apiece, simply because he had to drive, and I would have felt weird about drinking more than him.
— Two hours later, a very drunken friend of Theo’s wanted cigarettes, so Theo offered to drive him. It was raining. A small car accident ensued. Theo (almost blameless, in reality) backed into a car of a person at the party.
— Theo felt like complete shit, so we left and went to Wal-mart.
— We bought marshmellows, chips, cheese dip, tea, and a newspapers and went out to his old boyscout camp after grabbing the blankets in my car.
— We built a fire together and sat in front of it, roasting marshmallows, talking, cuddling and just generally being adorable.
— I got my first Midnight New Years kiss.
— We hung out and talked for a while longer and finally went back to his house after carefully putting out the fire.
— We watched a documentary on Netflix while laying on the mattress they put in the living room for me.
— I fell asleep.
— He fell asleep.
— He left sometime around 5 am to sleep in his own room, as that was a “rule” of me staying the night.
— His daddy made biscuits and gravy for breakfast.
— We watched a documentary about lions with his family.
— We went exploring the rest of Atchsion, including the International Forest of Friendship. Haha. There’s a tree from space there. Coolio. And also a really cool different park. It was way fun.
— We shared a Taco John’s burrito, cause I had never had one before.
— We explored trains, because that’s Atchison’s claim to fame. Also, Amelia Earhart.
— He explained how to go home.
— He went with me to get gas.
— I dropped him off, and I left.
In short, I had an absolutely amazing time with him. I always have a great time with him. He’s amazing. I’m like…gushing right now. I can’t help it. I’m so happy with him.
IAdoreUs.
